Saturday, December 13th

6:30 AM – 7:30 AM Yoga - GYM
Yoga is an ancient form of meditation. This might be the single best activity that contributes to all three components of our recovery. Through the practice of yoga, we enjoy physical recovery, emotional recovery, and spiritual recovery.

7:30 – 8:30 AM – Breakfast - DINING ROOM
Bacon, Scrambled eggs, Oatmeal with raisins, dried fruits
Fresh fruit, Cereal (low sugar)

9:00 – 11:30 AM – Meditation - CHAPEL
Spiritual Recovery is a leg of our recovery stool that must always be attended. Daily we find we often need to do something towards our physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery in order to show our love to ourselves, HP, and each other. There are a million ways to meditate. “The highest form of meditation is sleep,” revealed the Dali Lama and I’ve heard in the rooms – “Here’s how you meditate – sit down and shut up.”

Noon – 1:00 PM – Lunch - DINING ROOM
Marinated chicken, Peppers and onions, Brown rice
Roasted yellow squash, Cabbage medley
Sweet potato biscuits, Bananas and strawberries

1:30 – 3:30 PM – Body Image - CHAPEL
Physical Recovery is often what brings us in the rooms and then the real fun begins. Learning to love our bodies is traumatic for many of us but with the help of our Higher Power and a little humility and gratitude, we learn to at least face our bodies. We will learn to love our bodies a little more today than yesterday. We will hear about how body image is established, affected, and enforced, and how, one day at a time, with our Higher Power, we can overcome the damage we have done to ourselves.

1:30 – 2:30 PM – Love & Kindness Big Book Study - LOG CABIN
Bring your Big Book and find the love & kindness references that will help strengthen your growth in recovery and will grow the kindness & love in your heart.

3:00 – 4:00 PM – Late Afternoon Meeting - LOG CABIN
Join other 12 Steppers for a meeting and practice the love and kindness you are feeling toward one another.

4:00 – 5:00 PM – Gratitude & Recovery – CHAPEL
Gratitude is essential to recovery and happiness.  Learn the many ways to cultivate gratitude.

5:30 – 6:30 PM – Dinner – DINING ROOM
Choice of two: 4 oz steak, Portobello mushroom, 3 shrimp
Baked sweet potato, California blend vegetables
Apple slaw, Mini garlic cheese biscuits

6:30 – 7:30 PM – Fashion Show - DINING ROOM
Emotional Recovery includes finding authenticity. Join our Fashion Show Dinner where everyone is invited to wear the thing that makes them feel their very best and most authentic. Learning to be comfortable in our own skin with our own style is quite a feat.

8:00 – 9:00 PM – Story Time - AMPHITHEATER
All are invited to share– what it was like, what happened, and what it is like now. Take ten minutes and share with us how recovery has changed your ability to show love and receive kindness.

Sunday, December 14th

6:30 – 7:30 AM – Yoga - GYM
Yoga is an ancient form of meditation. This might be the single best activity that contributes to all three components of our recovery. Through the practice of yoga, we enjoy physical recovery, emotional recovery, and spiritual recovery.

7:30 – 8:30 AM – Breakfast - DINING ROOM
Sliced ham, Tomato basil pan omelet
Yogurt (low sugar), Fresh fruit
Cereal (low sugar)

9:00 – 10:30 AM – Communication - GYM
Communication is 50% body language, 40% delivery, and only 10% words. We choose our words so carefully but do we watch the tone or the body language. Many of us are not in the habit of showing love and kindness to others, and even when we want to be loving & kind, we can fail because we lack the skills of communication.

10:30 – 11:00 AM – Closing – GYM
